|Dear JHS Alumni Members:
Greetings! Jeff Cline here from the Class of ’71. I am honored to help organize the next Jenkintown High School Alumni Association All-Class Reunion set for Friday, May 4, 2018.
You are receiving this email due to your involvement with previous Reunions, and/or you're an alumnus friend I'm hoping will help out.
The first planning meeting for the 2018 All-Class Reunion is being held at Grace Presbyterian Church (corner of Old York and Vista Rds. in Jenkintown – across from the IHOP) on Tuesday, September 26 at 7:3 p.m. On-street parking is available on Vista Rd. or in the Library’s parking lot directly across from the church's Vista Rd. entrance. (Look for the door with the red canopy printed with “Welcome to Grace.”) We will be meeting in the Palmer Room which is straight ahead after entering the church building.
I hope you are able to attend. Kindly let me know via return email if you expect to be present. (Please do not hit Reply All) Light refreshments will be provided.
NOTE: One of the important agenda items relates to the potential of the Alumni Association becoming more directly connected with the school district. Past Alumni Association Chair, Peter Berlinger, and I
attended a recent meeting led by Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Jill Takacs, and several others about this. Peter and I are anxious to share this with you to gauge how other alumni feel about it.
This first meeting will be mostly nuts and bolts planning to review the status of Class agents, establish sub-committees, develop a timeline and discuss some new ideas. Since the Reunion will be held at a new location – Spring Mill Manor in Ivyland (Warminster) – it seems
like a good time to add some fun new elements. I’d love to hear your ideas.
I look forward to seeing you on 9/26 if you are able to attend.
Thanks very much.
